A parable!

There was once a man who waited his entire life to see a miracle, an incontrovertible act of God. It was his singular hope, and he felt it the only way to truly prove the existence of a divine and loving creator. When he died, and the Lord took him in, he petitioned as to why his one wish was never fulfilled. The Lord replied with pathos, “Do you still not understand, my son, the only miracles you could ever hope to see are the ones in which you have enough faith to enact yourself.”
